On June 12th and 13th 2023 in the city of Rosario, Argentina, within the context of the VII International Congress on Socio-environmental Health, an event organized by the Institute of Socio-Environmental Health of the School of Medicine of the National University of Rosario (UNR), and with the presence of organizations of sister peoples from Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, and Argentina, the formation of a Network of Peoples Affected by Biocidal Pesticides was initiated, to move towards the horizon of Buen Vivir, Food Sovereignty and Agroecology.
Our region and our peoples suffer acute impacts on health and the environment because of the toxic agrichemicals that are used indiscriminately by agribusiness.
Therefore, in the face of the aggression that we suffer, we the peoples unite and organize ourselves to transform this reality for the good of all of us who inhabit Our America.
The objectives of this network can be summarized as follows:
-To accompany, support and strengthen local processes of resistance in the different regional territories with these common horizons.
-To consolidate a space for the exchange of knowledge and experiences among the different regions of Our America.
-To carry out actions of denouncement, dissemination, and advocacy as a regional articulation of peoples affected by agrichemicals.

SE CONFORMO LA RED DE PUEBLOS DE NUESTRAMERICA AFECTADOS POR LOS AGROTOXICOS.
En la ciudad de Rosario, Argentina, los días 12 y 13 de junio y en el marco del VII Congreso Internacional de Salud Socioambiental, actividad organizada por el Instituto de Salud Socioambiental de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad Nacional del Rosario (UNR) y con la presencia de organizaciones de los pueblos hermanos de Uruguay, Paraguay, Brasil, Ecuador, Colombia y Argentina, se dio inicio a la conformación de una Red de pueblos afectados por los agrotóxicos biocidas, con el horizonte del Buen Vivir, la Soberania Alimentaria y la Agroecología.
Nuestra región se ve afectada por los impactos en la salud y el ambiente por los agrotóxicos que son utilizados por el Agronegocio en la agricultura en forma indiscriminada afectando a todos nuestros pueblos. Por lo tanto, ante la agresión que sufrimos, los pueblos se unen, se organizan para transformar esta realidad en el bien de todos los que habitamos Nuestramerica.
Los objetivos de esta red se pueden sintetizar en:
-Acompañar, apoyar y fortalecer los procesos locales de resistencia en los diferentes territorios regionales con estos horizontes comunes.
-Consolidar un espacio de intercambio de saberes y experiencias entre los diferentes procesos regionales de Nuestamerica.
-Realizar acciones de denuncia, difusión e incidencia como articulación regional de pueblos afectados por agrotóxicos.
