CAURA: The world’s largest megadiverse park.

Venezuelan’s president has just declared CAURA an indigenous area, national park, the wooded area of more than 7 million 500 thousand hectares that makes it the largest national park in the world.

The creation of the Caura Park places Venezuela at the forefront of the fight against Climate Change by protecting one of the largest carbon sinks that is represented in this immense mass of humid tropical forests.
