More than a thousand Ecosocialist Councils are consolidated in the country’s Communal Government Chambers

A total of 1,199 Ecosocialist Councils have been formed in the Communal Government Chambers in Venezuela, a significant number in the advancement of Vertex One of the Great Mother Earth Mission, Organizing for Life, whose goal is to reach 5,338 throughout the country. This was announced by the Minister of People’s Power for Ecosocialism, Ricardo Molina, during his participation in the Mass Training Course in Popular Planning, taught by the Venezuelan School of Planning, in conjunction with the Fourth National Popular Consultation, to be held this Sunday, April 27, in all the country’s Communal Circuits.

In this regard, he emphasized that ecosocialism is transversal to all the projects that the people will propose and therefore reaffirms the institution’s commitment to supporting these communal proposals. “We will provide technical support and guidance on socio-environmental impact studies free of charge, so that the organized community can endorse their projects,” he said.

The head of the aforementioned office also highlighted the importance of ecosocialist ideology as a cross-cutting theme in all the projects to be developed, as they promote the satisfaction of human needs with respect for nature. “This is the 4th National Popular Consultation to be held in Venezuela, which marks a significant advance in communal planning.”

“Unlike the first consultations, in which projects were randomly selected, this time proposals are presented, the result of more structured collective work. This approach allows for continuity in the selected projects, which optimizes the use of resources and guarantees effective execution,” said Minister Molina.
