Venezuela Eats + Fish arrived in San Agustín this Saturday

Residents of San Agustín del Norte purchased high-quality fish and aquaculture products at the best prices, thanks to a joint operation between the Ministry of People’s Power for Food and the Ministry of People’s Power for Fisheries and Aquaculture, as part of the Venezuela Eats + Fish program.

Residents of this town were able to purchase this protein at affordable and fresh prices. The priority of the National Government, led by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, is to ensure that the population can bring these products to the tables of Venezuelan families, according to a VTV report.

It is worth noting that from the Petare parish in Miranda state, the Minister of People’s Power for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan Carlos Loyo, inaugurated the Venezuela Eats + Fish program, which will distribute 74 tons of fish products in 13 states across the country, through 48 points in 86 communal circuits.

The distribution of fish protein is a priority for the national government, in line with food sovereignty policies. According to data from the Ministry of Food and the National Institute of Nutrition, fish protein consumption grew by 34%. “The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, has emphasized the importance of ensuring that this protein reaches the Venezuelan people.”
